About Melissa

The Coach

Melissa Hall is a Coach to Visionaries, Creators, and Spiritual Seekers, a Transformational Workshop Facilitator, Screenwriter and Author, Founder of Femvolution, Modern Goddess, and Practitioner of Beauty . She is passionate about creating opportunities for people to unplug, tread a different path, and support themselves to live a life of freedom through coaching, experiential personal growth workshops, group meditations and rituals, writing, and music.

Melissa helps produce powerful, life-changing shifts for her clients drawing on her 15 years of training from some of the worlds most respected, leading-edge personal development organizations and systems. She mixes a unique blend of skills including extensive training in somatic psychology, personal transformation, NLP, authentic expression and movement, film and creative writing, business, marketing, and entrepreneurship, energetic healing modalities, intuitive guidance, yoga and meditation, dance, feminine and masculine dynamics, tantra, manifestation, indigenous spiritual traditions, women’s circles, and sacred ceremony to offer up a cocktail of support for clients to deepen into themselves and unleash their radiance and brilliance.

Melissa supports clients around the world through her private practice. She is also a Coach and Course Facilitator with The Arête Center for Excellence (www.aretecenter.com) and AuthenticSF (www.authenticsf.com), which offers communication and relationship programs including The Authentic Woman Experience (www.authenticwomanexperience.com) and The Authentic Man Program (www.authenticmanprogram.com).

The Woman

Melissa received her B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and her M.F.A. in Film and Screenwriting from Academy of Art University. She is currently writing feature-film screenplays that she is visioning will be seen on a screen near you in the near future!

In her “former life” she was a marketing and advertising executive at Visa U.S.A. and Saatchi & Saatchi where she managed the communications for major international brands including Delta Air Lines and Procter & Gamble. She also enjoyed a short stint at a fast-paced Internet start-up where her infinite patience was tested and her multi-tasking skills reached an all-time high!

Melissa’s experience in corporate life and subsequent departure from it led to a healing spiritual journey during which she has explored in-depth (and is still exploring) the relationship between the mind, the body, and the spirit, what it means to open and express and lead as a woman, and how to live a life fully given to reach self-actualization.

Melissa loves to explore the rich culture the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer and is often involved with creating events for a variety of inspired communities interested in personal growth, creative expression and spiritual exploration. She is also a dance DJ (as “Bombgoddess”) and loves to facilitate dance floor unity at various Bay Area parties and venues. You can often find her outdoors hanging out with her canine companion, Kanga and indoors with her feline companion, Azazia. She loves engaging in regular personal growth work, decorating the home she shares with her husband, David, women’s fashion, watching movies, holistic health and nutrition, dance and yoga.

I am here to embody pure happiness and radiance through the power of being my full, beautiful self and to empower others to do the same so that the world is populated with more open, happy, loving, compassionate, inspired, and passionate people who feel complete freedom to be themselves and live in harmony, cooperation and peace with the other denizens of this planet.

I believe that every human being already possesses the wisdom they need and I am skillful at asking the questions that help people find their own deepest answers. I love to use the Goddess as a symbol of personal empowerment and all the manifestations of the feminine and I am passionate about creating a planet full of radiant, conscious, inspired, and empowered women!
